Souper Bowl Sunday Update: February 6, 2011 The Missions Committee received of behalf of Central UMC's Food pantry 71 cans of soup and $495.25. We have participated in Souper Bowl of Caring for ten years now and have collected over $4,000. Thank You Central United Methodist Church of Knoxville, giving so we can give. Suggested sale items for the children’s sale are: children’s clothes, dress up, dance, and gymnastics outfits, school and scout uniforms, maternity clothes, shoes, children/youth purses, backpacks, diaper bags, lunch boxes, belts, hats, toys, games, puzzles, books, dolls, videos, DVDs, baby beds, nursery furniture, children’s furniture, strollers, high chairs, video games and playing devices, sports equipment, inflatables, wagons, bicycles, tricycles, maternity accessories, newborn accessories, bottles, bibs, linens, room décor, framed prints, lamps, etc. for children’s rooms and nurseries, parenting & pregnancy books and nursing aids.

Valentine’s Day
February 14th
Couples will have the opportunity to renew their wedding vows during Morning Worship. Our pastor will use the ritual for the reaffirmation covenant in the United Methodist Book of Worship.
